Global insurer American International Group (AIG) has appointed Oliver Dlugosch as Head of Aviation EMEA.
Based in Munich, Dlugosch will play a key role in further strengthening AIG’s aviation business in the EMEA region.
He brings three decades of aviation insurance experience, with deep technical expertise, a strong client and broker focus and significant leadership experience.
Dlugosch joins AIG from The Fidelis Partnership, where he served as Head of Aviation and Aerospace.
Prior to that, he spent almost 20 years at Swiss Re, where he most recently served as Director, Head Aerospace, responsible for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ activities helping aviation and space customers cover their risk needs.

Earlier in his career, Dlugosch was Head of Airlines and Manufacturers at GE Insurance Solutions.
Mark Sperring, Global Head of Aerospace at AIG, said, “Oli’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to investing in our aviation business and delivering for our brokers and clients in the region.”
