Reinsurance and capital solutions broker Augment Risk has announced the appointment of Kurt Cripps as group head of growth and broking, a newly created role, effective immediately.

In his new position, Cripps has been tasked with driving the firm’s commercial strategy by identifying and executing key growth opportunities across the business.

He will also collaborate with Augment Risk’s broking leads to manage complex placements, refine market strategy, and support strategic client opportunities.

While transitioning into his new position, Cripps will continue to serve in his role as head of global parametric, supported by the current team of global experts based across Miami and London.

The executive initially joined Augment Risk in October 2023 to help develop the company’s parametric proposition.

I look forward to seeing Kurt’s achievements in this expanded role, delivering meaningful benefits for both our people and our clients.”
